ANEI was founded by Katrina and Te Aparangi — two senior project managers whose careers span kaupapa Māori service design, government policy, technology deployment, social services, and corporate operations across Aotearoa and internationally.
We came home to Te Tai Tokerau to do our best work here. Organisations in our rohe deserve the same calibre of project leadership as any city firm — and they shouldn't have to look south to find it.
Katrina is a Te Tai Tokerau-based project manager and service designer grounded in kaupapa Māori practice. Her career spans health, justice, whenua Māori advisory, social services, and community-led programme delivery. She brings a rare combination of strategic design thinking and hands-on operational expertise — always with whānau, hapū, and community at the centre.
Te Aparangi is a dynamic project manager with a career spanning technology deployment, corporate operations, community development, and iwi social services. She has led implementation programmes in the travel and SaaS technology sectors, driven diversity and inclusion strategy at a national level, and delivered community engagement and funding programmes across Aotearoa and Australia. She brings commercial rigour, cultural intelligence, and genuine passion for outcomes that make a lasting difference.
